Turn & Burn follows custom-car craftsman Brother JD as he scours the seldom-seen side of Los Angeles to procure the vital, hard-to-find parts needed to bring classic cars back from the dead at his El Rey's garage. Brother JD proves time and again that he will stop at nothing to find the right stuff for his budget-built vehicles. Each episode sees JD and his crew of motley mechanics hustle, haggle and barter to achieve the ultimate goal—a cool ride for under five thousand dollars. They call it the "5K flip." Up against the clock and up against larger-than-life characters, the El Rey's team goes for broke to turn junked-out cruisers into badass bruisers, all in the name of love and profit.
Season 01, Episode 1 – “The Crown Jewel”
In this episode of Turn and Burn, JD goes on the hunt and finds a vintage 1955 Pontiac Star Chief, but the El Rey boys think he may have made a mistake when it proves to be more work than expected. Then one of JD's former customers returns to the lot to sell back his 1967 Buick Riviera at a price JD cant pass up. JD thinks this will be a quick and easy flip and decides to add this to the already tall order by adding this to the Auction list. It's double trouble as JD tries to get both classic rides ready for the high roller auction only 5 days away.
