The seas around the southern edge of Britain are some of the most unpredictable in the world. In these waters two of Britain’s biggest fishing fleets, Brixham and Newlyn, are locked in battle.With high fish prices the Atlantic winter is a time when skippers and crews can make a killing, but working in storms reaching force 10 it’s also a time when they risk paying the ultimate price.

Season 1, Episode 1
One skipper braves storms while the rest wait at port, and Search and Rescue receives a distress call in the opener of the reality series following two fishing fleets as they face perilous conditions in the seas south of Britain.
