Alan Titchmarsh is nearing the end of his mission to re-create a lost garden by his horticultural hero Capability Brown at Belvoir Castle in Leicester. As he embarks on his biggest planting plan ever, around the new lakes, he needs his full charm to make sure that Brown's dying wish for his vision at the castle is realised. He persuades the duchess to visit Highclere Castle - the real Downton Abbey - to see the beauty of Brown's magnificent mature parkland - but what really spurs him on is the discovery that Belvoir's archives have a personal letter from his gardening hero.
