The Syndicate is a drama series written by written by Kay Mellor. The series tells the story of five different employees working at a cut-price supermarket in Leeds whose lives are turned upside down after they win the lottery together as part of a syndicate.
Episode 1:
The Right Buy U supermarket in Leeds is being threatened with closure which sees it's five staff, Bob, Stuart, Denise, Leanne and Jamie facing an uncertain future. Assistant manager Stuart Bradley and his younger brother Jamie end up taking matters into their own hands which sees some dramatic consequences for store manager Bob. After it looks like things can’t get any worse the unthinkable happens, 18 million pounds falls into their hands after they win the lottery.
