Jane still believes Andrew is guilty. So when he is reinstated at the hospital, she publicly assaults him. His daughter Emma applies for a restraining order to keep her away from him. Soon Jane finds her life unraveling as she becomes obsessed with Andrew. Ali Hall gets relieved from the case, meaning Jane is now left to find out information on her own. She visits Andrew's ex-wife Isobel and finds some damning information from her new partner. Ali receives a phone call from one of Andrew's old students leading her to continue doing some digging even though she is no longer on the case. Emma and Jane end up in a confrontation prompting Emma to visit Isobel to finally discover the truth.
