Anthropologist Alice Roberts and archaeologist Neil Oliver conclude their exploration the origins and beliefs of the ancient group of peoples and their influence on vast areas of the ancient world. They examine how the Romans turned their attention to Britain, an island of rich resources, powerful tribes and advanced military equipment, and also look at the Celts’ last stand against the Roman army, a revolt led by warrior queen Boudicca – who became the first great heroine of the emerging nation.
