Veterinary surgeon Noel Fitzpatrick heads to Cheshire for the second of his two annual festivals for dog owners. An estimated 6,500 owners attend the event, where canines with prosthetic limbs are given a chance to take part in impressive agility contests. The programme also follows two new Supervet patients from diagnosis, through to surgery and recovery. Noel faces one of his most challenging limb replacements to date when he tries to help Jake, a Greek street dog brought back to the UK after his leg was badly damaged in a traffic accident. The vet also comes to the aid of Dupe, a South African mastiff puppy with a life-threatening spinal condition, who requires surgery to stave off paralysis.
