Storm City sees beloved presenter, author and adventurer Ben Fogle taking on a man-versus-nature experiment, as he explores the devastating impact of extreme weather, starting with the chaos caused by snow and ice. Joined by a group of experts, the TV presenter digs into real-life case studies - in 1998, for example, Montreal was completely shut down by a fierce ice storm - and shares incredible stories of survival, before subjecting the show's specially-built test house to one of the world's deadliest natural forces: an avalanche. Fogle said: "This is an extraordinary series to work on and it will look incredible too. I've been staggered by the scale and how much I've learned about the effects that nature can have on our environment. I hope people enjoy watching it as much as I've enjoyed making it."
