Season 2, Episode 07 –
With two teams at the checkpoint – Ilha Grande in Brazil – the remaining teams are engaged in a frantic race to avoid finishing the leg in last place. Dom and Lizzie are on foot running through the jungle, whilst Jo and Sam are paddling furiously in a canoe across the bay. It is a nail-biting ending, and the siblings just manage to edge out their rivals and sign into the book.

Season 2, Episode 06 –
Following their disagreement in Bolivia, Jen and Rob want to try and enjoy the experience more so agree to make time to see things they have always wanted to see. First up – a stop at the world-famous, jaw-dropping Iguazu Falls. Buoyed by their time at Iguazu, they head to Blumenau, a town founded by German immigrants, which Rob is especially keen to visit due to his German heritage. Arriving in the midst of its annual beer festival, Jen and Rob enter into the party spirit, leading Jen to question how they might continue having fun together as a couple when the trip is over.

Season 2, Episode 05 –
The four teams have reached the halfway mark in the 25,000km race to Ushuaia, and with only eight and a half hours between them, the race is on. To reach the next checkpoint – Cafayate in Argentina – teams must choose to travel through either Bolivia or Chile, but an unstable political climate in both countries puts everyone’s journeys at risk. With half the race still to complete, emotions are pushed to breaking point.

Season 2, Episode 03 –
In this next leg on the race to Ushuaia, Argentina, the most southerly city in the world, there are just four teams left to battle it out for the £20,000 prize. Setting off from Panama City, they take to the Caribbean Sea, bypassing the most dangerous place in the Western Hemisphere – the Darien Gap. Added complications ensue when a state of emergency is declared in Quito, Ecuador, the destination of their next checkpoint. Teams are forced to change their routes mid-race and head instead to Villavieja, in the remote Colombian desert.
