Protecting Our Foster Kids is a documentary series which follows Dorset County Council’s fostering service over the course of a year. The show takes a look at the intimate day-to-day work foster carers and other professionals do whilst attempting to help the lives of children in care.

Amy is 14 years old and has been living in different foster homes since the age of 10. Three months ago, she moved in with Steph and Chris and their family hoping that it will be her last. After her older sister Natalie moves in for emergency care, the placement becomes strained.
