Monica Galetti and Michel Roux Jr oversee proceedings as six chefs battle it out in the quarter-final preparing a dish of their own invention from a range of ingredients including oysters whelks mangos white chocolate and dates. It is the third week of heats. Eight ambitious chefs from all over Britain begin their bid for the MasterChef title by facing Monica’s Invention Test.
