Plot: When talented young singer, Roxie Santos, meets music producer, Eddie Marz, he promises her an amazing new lifestyle and a future record deal. After Ed begins to gloat about his love life it makes Tess feel even lonelier. Sadie believes that her clinch with magazine editor Lauren is her ticket out of temping but is left reeling after Lauren snubs her at the office. Sadie’s irreverent take on waitressing gets her into trouble. Sadie ends up spending the afternoon in a hotel room with Lauren after she shows up at the restaurant to make amends. After Lauren rushes off, leaving Sadie a bundle of money to settle the hotel bill, she’s left feeling less than valued.
