Jake Humphrey presents coverage of the 16th round of the season from the Korea International Circuit (Start-time 7.00am). With Sebastian Vettel having wrapped up the drivers’ championship thanks to his third-placed finish in Japan, the rest of the field will have their sights firmly set on second place. Jenson Button currently holds that position after taking maximum points at Suzuka, but Fernando Alonso is just eight points behind him. Alonso won the inaugural race here last year, beating McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton and his Ferrari team-mate Felipe Massa into second and third place respectively. Defending world champion Sebastian Vettel enjoys an 85-point lead in the drivers’ standings but his dominance has been curtailed by a run of three races without victory. Former world champions Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button have all won in that time, and the trio can take heart from the fact that McLaren or Ferrari have taken the chequered flag at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in every race since 1999.
