Plot: Tomogui is an upcoming Japanese movie directed by Shinji Aoyama and based on an Akutagawa Prize-winning novel by Shinya Tanaka. The film involves a 17-year-old boy named Tooma Shinogaki who lives with his father and his father’s new girlfriend in an isolated riverside town. Tooma is affected by witnessing the sexually abusive behavior of his father every day, and finds it difficult to avoid repeating the same behavior in his own life.
