He makes a living scouring the nation for abandoned buildings that may hold unexpected “gems” of history with shockingly high values. Jay and the team search for forgotten relics in a rare historic gem, an 18th-century grist mill in Westminster, Maryland that’s been abandoned for decades. Jay’s biggest finds include a bell and a collection of tiles. But the property’s owner is on the fence about selling the items until he makes a surprising offer of his own.
