The show is a adaptation of the BBC series that starred Joanna Lumley and Denis Lawson.

This episode goes behind the scenes of the upcoming HBO Canada series “Sensitive Skin”. Sensitive Skin is a Canadian black comedy based on the British series of the same name. The show’s 6-episode first season was written by comedian Bob Martin and directed by Don McKellar. Sensitive Skin is the story of a woman of a certain age (Kim Cattrall) and her longtime husband (Don McKellar) who have sold their family home and moved downtown to a hip condo in a transitional neighborhood in a conscious effort to change their lives, to keep relevant, to begin again. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happens. A variety of people involved in the show provide insight, including Kim Cattrall, Don McKellar, Nicolas Wright, Joanna Gleason, Colm Feore, Elliott Gould, Bob Martin and Clé Bennett.
