Lifetime’s explosive docuseries Prison Brides follows seven women from around the world who believe they have found their soulmates in the most unexpected of places, American prisons. Season 1, Episode 01 – “A Strange Situation”
Women from across the globe find love inside American prisons. In Germany, Svea prepares to meet her boyfriend, Joseph, for the very first time, despite her mother’s reluctance. Single mom, Erin, leaves Australia behind and waits for her incarcerated boyfriend, Michael, to be released from an Ohio prison. In the UK, Emma surprises her family with news of her imminent US prison wedding to fiance Curtis.
