Plot: Twenty-eight years after his 1984 hit The Funny Couple, Taiwanese blockbuster director Chu Yen Ping updates the classic comedy with some of the hottest talents in Taiwan and China today. Singer/actor Vic Chou stars opposite child actor Xiao Xiao Bin (son of the original's Xiao Bin Bin) as father and son in New Perfect Two, along with popular Mainland actress Mini Yang and S.H.E's Ella in her big-screen debut. Also featuring singer Chen Chusheng, actor Tao Zeru, online celebrity "Freakout Girl" Ding Shasha, and amusing cameos by Vivian Hsu and Zhu Ge Liang, the heartwarming comedy promises to generate more heartfelt laughs and tears from a familiar yet brand-new story.
