Celebrity chefs Paul Rankin and Nick Nairn embark on a culinary road trip along the east coast of America to uncover modern links with Irish and Scottish immigrants and contemporary food in the US. In the final episode of the series, Paul and Nick travel to beautiful Philadelphia, one of the main entry ports for immigrants to America in the 18th century. The duo cook for Drew McGinty and Joyce Alexander, the founders of the Centre for Ulster-Scots Studies. Though our chefs try to cook an Ulster-Scots meal, they are repeatedly seduced by Italian fare which the area has to offer.
