Season 01, Episode 01 – “Turning A Blind Eye”
Family fixer Dave Vitalli sets off to help a struggling single mom, Kandace, whose teenagers now run the household. Oldest daughter Amber loves to party, and 16-year-old Justus continuously gets high. The attitude and lack of respect from the youngest daughter, Ashton, is a constant source of frustration for everyone. Dave must reign in the teens and give the mother a wake-up call before the family falls completely apart.
Kandace (mom) -- Kandace has admittedly given up as a mother, and she's turned a blind eye to her kids' drinking and drug use.
Amber (age 17) -- Party animal Amber doesn't consider her mom a real parent, and she is disgusted by younger sister Amber's constant lack of respect for everyone.
Justus (age 16) -- After witnessing his mom's struggles, Justus has turned to marijuana as a way to escape life's problems.
Ashton (age 13) -- Ashton disrespects everyone in the house and constantly lashes out to protect her true feelings.
