Mark Little risked his life fighting in the Iraq War and, although he lost his legs to an IED, he has never stopped living life to the fullest and relentlessly encouraging to do so. He and his wife bought the house Mark grew up in several years ago but, with Mark currently a full-time student who dedicates all his free time to inspiring other wounded vets by running marathons, giving speeches and raising funds, the couple lacks the means to make their home more functional for the needs of a person who spends all day on prosthetic legs. So the Cousins recruit Ellen DeGeneres to surprise the Littles with a life-changing home renovation including an indoor spa and hot tub to soothe his aches and pains.
