The return of the drama following a TV crime reporter who doggedly pursues the truth behind every story. A woman is raped and murdered by serial offender John Glynn after he is given bail by a corrupt judge in spite of Gardai appeals to remand him in custody. When Cathal is wrongly blamed for her death, he is desperate to clear his name and is forced to endanger those closest to him as he becomes embroiled in a game of cat and mouse with the killer.
