Born to Shine follows different celebrities as they are taught different skills from tap dancing to rapping. They are taught the skills by different youngsters and they have to demonstrate what they have learned on stage. The series is presented by Natasha Kaplinsky. Each week the different celebrities try and raise funds for Save the Children as they attempt to win a place in the grand final. The celebrity with the most public votes each week gains a place in the series final.
Season 01 Episode 01 --
Celebrities taking part this week are Michael Underwood and Angellica Bell learning to tap-dancing, actor Nick Moran learning to play the piano and Jodie Prenger learning to rap. After all of the celebrities have performed the phone lines are opened for this week's public vote. Diversity perform live on stage. At the end of the show Natasha reveals that Nick has topped the public vote and gained a place in the series final.
