Finally, SCENE picked this up, the latest Bataman cartoon movie “Batman: Under the Red Hood”. This is an direct-to-video animated film based on the Batman storylines “Under the Hood” and “A Death in the Family”. The film is the eighth in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies line released by Warner Premiere and Warner Bros. Animation. The film stars Bruce Greenwood as Bruce Wayne/Batman and Jensen Ackles as the Red Hood.

PLOT: Batman faces his ultimate challenge as the mysterious Red Hood takes Gotham City by firestorm. One part vigilante, one part criminal kingpin, Red Hood begins cleaning up Gotham with the efficiency of Batman, but without following the same ethical code. Killing is an option. And when the Joker falls in the balance between the two, hard truths are revealed and old wounds are reopened.
