Plot: Small-town library, working on master's Ville Herman falls in love with his brother's wedding Kanninen caretaker's daughter, Alice. Young people love to make it difficult, however, malevolent townspeople juoruineen. When the merchant Törhö may become pregnant lady Rebecka and give the sack, townspeople begin to claim Ville Herman raped Rebecka. Alice's father, threatened with job loss if Alice continue dating Ville with Hermann.
